I’m am inspired by the Native American culture and their belief that we are a part of nature. The bear is considered a powerful guardian, symbolizing healing, courage, and adaptability. The Zuni bear is a sacred carved fetish of the Zuni Pueblo people. It represent strength, protection and healing.
This piece is fashioned from stoneware and curved with the head and butt areas leaning out from the wall to give the feeling of movement.
