EMBRACING TRANQUILITY
Mark Kinsella - Jude Lobe - Jason Smith
June 23rd thru July 26th, 2026
OPENING RECEPTION
June 26th, 6 pm. - 9 pm
This year I am striving to find inner peace among all the chaos that is around us. Herman Hess said, “Tranquility is not the absence of storms, but the peace within during the storm.” Within the walls of my studio I am secluded with objects and paraphernalia that calls out for my attention. I have photographs from trips I have taken in 2025 that help me recall the joy I felt when traveling through nature’s beautiful places we visited. They keep me centered on the gifts given us and inspire me.

TAPPING INTO SPIRIT
March 25th - April 20th
I enjoy working with many different types of media, and will be exhibiting both sculptures and paintings in this show. The new collection presents an expression of the Native American philosophy of interconnectedness, balance, and respect for nature, manifesting in both my totemic sculptures and my endangered landscapes. My totems are intended to bridge the ancient and the contemporary, serving as both a narrative and a conversation through the use of bold expression and thoughtfully crafted details.
The endangered landscape paintings are done in the minimalist style, allowing the viewers “to infuse their own emotions into the landscape.” She hopes that they will serve a dual purpose of encouraging the viewers to consider the interconnectedness of all things while reminding us to respect the fragile balance we share with our surroundings.
Mixed media art exhibit titled 'Featured Exhibit' with a sculpture made of chains, wood, metal, and bell, a painting of a seascape with birds, and hand-painted gourd of a blackbird silhouette.
