This cold wax & Oil painting is in my Southwestern theme series. One of my favorite movies was entitled Crooked Sky about a Native American man saving his sister from her captors. In the movie, he and a fried were lying on their backs looking up at the sky, and he said, “There’s the cooked sky.” Thus the inspiration of this painting.
